Welcome to the project website of the Ecodesign Preparatory Study for Lifts (GROW Lot 11).
The Ecodesign Directive ( Directive 2009/125/EC ) establishes a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products with the aim of ensuring the free movement of such products within the internal market.
This study provides the European Commission with a technical, environmental and economical analysis of lifts in accordance with Article 15 of the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC. It is based on the Methodology for Ecodesign of Energy-related Products (MEErP) detailed on the methodology page .
