I received my bachelors degree in psychology in 1982 from Syracuse University. I received my Doctor of psychology (PsyD) degree from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University in 1988. I have worked in the mental health field since 1982 in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, day treatment programs, group homes, residential treatment centers, and court based clinics. In 1993 I relocated to the Pacific Northwest and established a private practice where I primarily focus on providing forensic and clinical psychological evaluations. I also provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
My training in psychotherapy has included psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based approaches. As such, my approach to therapy is eclectic and informed by these various schools of thought.
