And all of a sudden it's August – or at least so it seems to me! The schools are on holiday; some of our regular activities are taking a break and many of us have been able to be away taking some time out and away from the usual routine before it all begins again in September.
Perhaps you've been travelling by car, or train, or coach, or airplane, or by foot, alone or with friends and family. It seems to me that there is something about travelling, about those we encounter on the way or about sharing with a group in travelling to a destination that can encourage laughter and conversation and sometimes the telling of stories. Like me, I'm sure many of you read the 'Canterbury Tales', when in school – imaginary pilgrims telling their stories to their fellow pilgrims.
