I grew up in northeast Ohio in a small place called Thompson, Geauga County. After receiving my undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Lagrange College in LaGrange, Georgia, I attended the West Virginia University School of Medicine where I graduated in 2007 with my Medical Degree.
My interest is in advanced minimally invasive techniques to help patients with acute and chronic pain. I have extensive experience with spinal cord stimulation as well as peripheral nerve stimulation and use these techniques to help identify new treatment options for patients with chronic joint pain when surgery is not an option. I also collaborate with different specialists in other fields to help create and optimize treatments.
I have a special interest in the treatment of neuropathic pain conditions of the spine, peripheral nerve damage, and complex regional pain syndrome and enjoy using both techniques to help treat acute and post-surgical pain as well. I am a pioneer in the use of virtual reality for the treatment of pain in my region.
