Dr David Simcock is a consultant physician and honorary senior lecturer in general internal medicine and respiratory medicine and divides his time between private practice and the NHS. Dr Simcock works at the King Edward VII’s hospital, where he is the Clinical Director of Medicine, The London Clinic and St Bartholomew’s hospital in central London. Dr Simcock has private clinic availability across the week and cares for in-patients year-round.
Dr Simcock’s training involved rotations through core medical specialties and has also worked in anaesthesia and intensive care as a trainee. Specialist training in respiratory medicine was undertaken in London, rotating through specialist teaching hospitals renowned for respiratory medicine. He undertook a 3-year period of medical research that led to the award of a PhD.
