From 2013 he undertook a PhD at the University of Alberta , Canada, and was appointed Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine in 2017. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2020.
He is an experienced and skilled Geriatrician, and a recognised expert in incontinence in older people, dementia, capacity, and internal medicine in older people.
