The University of North Florida announced Friday afternoon that Pitt assistant coach Joe Mercadante will become the fourth head baseball coach in their program's history.
Pitt women's soccer recent graduate Athalie Palomo has signed a professional contract with Mexican professional women's club team Tigres UANL. Palomo joins Hailey Davidson , Dixon Veltri, Hollie Olding, Juliana Vazquez and Amaia Pena as the sixth player under Pitt head coach Randy Waldrum to turn pro.
Michelle Van Dyke has been named head strength and conditioning coach for the Pitt women's basketball team, as announced on Thursday morning by head coach Tory Verdi .
