We are a cross-disciplinary team of medievalists and scientists from different disciplines who are interested in the remedies from historical and traditional medicine (see the tabs above for our past and current projects). Medicine in the Middle Ages could take many forms and medical remedies are only a part of it. Our project considers medieval pharmacology and one of our aims is to investigate whether any of the remedies may be adapted to help to find new solutions f
