I saw the Elvis movie weeks ago at an early preview showing. (Sorry for the delay in posting) The beginning gave me goosebumps and the recreations and costumes were gorgeous in their detail. I thought the actors’ performances were top-notch. And I love that this movie is introducing Elvis to a whole new audience.
BUT with that said, I found the movie very disappointing.
My disappointment in the movie is it’s Priscilla’s revisionist history. It’s the story she keeps repeating ad nauseum. Elvis died sad, idle, lonely and pining for Priscilla.
