I paint from nature, but I am not a naturalist or a realist or perhaps even an impressionist.
I paint in beautiful color out of my love for it. In that way, I am perhaps, more of an expressionist.
I want people see a different point of view - an ordinary world viewed in beautiful, saturated color, the world that gives me energy and joy. My paintings strive to show ordinary local moments with an energetic, colorful point of view.
