Welcome to our Catholic parish. We are a Christian community in Snowdonia National Park, Dolgellau and Bala – two delightful towns surrounded by landscapes of great beauty.
In Dolgellau we are committed through faith to opening the door of our hearts and our church to God and to all who come here. We’re open to all within the local community and beyond. We’re sensitive to the joys and pains around us. Through the power of the eucharist, prayer and meditation we find strength to serve and will work alongside people of any faith or none who are dedicated to building God’s Kingdom of peace, justice and love, a space where peoples’ gifts can be developed and their dreams realised.
Our much admired church, a grade 2 listed building, was opened in 1966, by a remarkable Maltese priest, Fr Francis Scalpell and we ensure it remains open every day – please feel free to visit, to enjoy the building, to pray, or just to sit and find a few moments of peace and quiet in a busy world!
