The Navy then sent him to Oral Surgery residency and upon completion Dr. Landis served as an active duty Oral Surgeon for four years. After leaving the military and deciding to practice privately, Dr. Landis was so grateful for the Navy and the opportunities it granted, he decided to join the Reserves.
