Description: Friends of Denso Marston Nature Reserve is a voluntary organisation dedicated to development and maintenance of Denso Marston Nature Reserve which is situated alongside the River Aire in Baildon, West Yorkshire.

Welcome to the Friends of Denso Marston Nature Reserve website.
The seven acre reserve is situated between the River Aire and the Denso Marston factory in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Created in 1991 on Denso Marston washland for the benefit of wildlife, community enjoyment and education. An urban haven of woodland, meadows and pools with varied wildlife complement the other green areas in the wildlife rich Aire valley.
We are currently looking for a new volunteer to join our volunteers on a Wednesday morning 10am till noon. It is a weekly work party and will involve all kinds of activities to do with the management of the reserve. There will be training given in some of the aspects of the reseve management.
