I grew up in Minnesota working most of my life on the family sod farm and then moved to Texas in 2005 working along the way to pursue the dream of fishing for a living. With determination to make it happen, I wound up qualifying for the Elite Tour through the 2006 Bassmaster Northern Tour. Competing alongside with some of the best anglers in the world, I entered and won my first Elite Series tournament on Lake Amistad and followed up with a 2nd place finish on the California Delta the following week.
