Walking in nature. Drawing in gardens. Experiencing the environment. Expressing these moments in time through mark making and color. This is what inspires me. In essence, my art is an expression of what I have found beautiful in life. Mark making with pastels is energizing and exciting. Soft pastels have a brilliance and beauty that is unique as a medium.
