Welcome to the website of A Day in the Country! 34 years ago, I opened a small shop on Monroe Street in Madison, WI. At that time, most of my merchandise was handmade, and I supplemented with some manufactured pieces. I grew into a large space in Sun Prairie selling mostly manufactured goods and a few handmade items mixed in.
