With related careers, my involvement in the real estate profession has spanned most of four decades. It began in 1974 when I graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Architecture Degree from the School of Design, North Carolina State University. Past careers have included the practice of architecture (licensed in 14 states) and real estate development with a specialty in health care facilities. Both of these careers were on a national scale. I became a member of Mensa in 1973 and retain that membership to
