I am an associate professor of philosophy at Illinois State University. I have published work on time and change [ 1 , 2 ], essence and modality [ 3 ], nonexistents and fictional characters [ 4 , 5 ], and the history of the Liar paradox in the Islamic tradition [ 6 , 7 ]. I regularly teach our symbolic logic course here at ISU, along with courses on metaphysics and epistemology, Islamic philosophy, medieval philosophy, and the philosophy of language.
I should spend more time collecting wild mushrooms and messing about in boats.
