David Mayers is a New York based guitar player and musical director who has played Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin and Bouzouki for numerous off Broadway shows, regional theatres , New York Cabarets and club venues.
David Mayers is a guitar doubler based in New York. Recent shows and notable performances include: Jersey Boys (Guitar Sub, New York production and National Tour) Come Fall In Love ( The Old Globe Theatre ) Next to Normal (Off-Broadway); A Chorus Line (Off-Broadway); Rags (Off-Broadway); as well as frequenting cabaret clubs such as The Green Room 42, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Tavern On The Green, Chelsea Table & Stage, and Joe’s Pub.
In addition to playing guitar, banjo, and mandolin, David is a music director. David recently conducted a production of Into The Woods (NYU) and was the Musical Director of Tisch New Theatre’s production of Legally Blonde. David will also be playing at Joe’s Pub. The Green Room 42. and 54/Below this Fall. David also plays keyboard.
