David grew up in Redford Township, on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, attended Redford Union High School (Class of '68) and graduated from Michigan State University in 1972. He has two younger brothers, Allan in Wichita Falls, Texas and Andrew, in San Pedro, California. for a laugh, click on the class picture.
Growing up he spent summers at Burroughs Farms in Brighton, Michigan, a square mile paradise for kids on Little Crooked Lake. It was an employee benefit his father, Warren got by working at Burroughs Corporation. Alas, time marches on and they're all gone. Burroughs merged with Sperry to form Unisys years ago. Burroughs Farms was sold off and is now the exclusive neighborhood of Oak Pointe.
