the marking on my knives is our cattle brand which has been passed down to my Dad by my Grandmother. My Grandfather was killed when my Dad was a young boy. My grandma ran a mixed farm and raised three boys on her own. She was always cutting twine on bales and off farm equipment with some old knife. So I thought that when I started to make knives I would use something that stood the test of time to mark them.
