This Website is managed and maintained by Maureen Broderstad and Ian Metcalfe, two amateur botanists who have spent many years studying the Wild Flowers of Cyprus. The results of this work are recorded in a database which contains information on approximately 1400 plants and over 4000 photographs. The information includes Latin Name, Family, English Name (where available), Greek Name and Family (where available), Flowering Period, Altitude and Commonality (i.e. Endemic, Rare, Very Rare etc).
Of the 1400 plants about 900 are included in the Website together with their photographs.
The Database will be updated to include more plants as they are discovered and more photographs as they become available.
