Description: Why do we research? Acquiring research funds? Defending Doctor’s degree? Maintaining our tenure track? Simply, was it because we could not suppress the feeling, “curious”, to find out what we wanted to know? Research doesn’t always work out as we expected. Nevertheless, this institute still aims to be a place where researchers can remember their pure “curiosity” for research with enjoyment, enthusiasm and aesthetics.

Why do we research? Seek for research funds? Pursue a Doctor’s degree? Maintain a tenure track? Here we believe it is because we cannot stop ourselves from feeling “curious” about what we want to know. As we all know, research does not always provide us the answers we want. Nevertheless, our institute is the place for those researchers who cannot stop being “curious” from their heart and conduct research with enjoyment, enthusiasm, and aesthetics.
