Crete Fire Department operates out of 2 fire stations. Each station is equipped with an Advance Life Support ambulance and at least 1 fire engine. Station #1 also has a heavy rescue squad and grass fire truck.
Crete Fire Department has volunteer firefighters and paramedics. To help cover the daytime requirements, we employ firefighter / paramedics from various local departments and private ambulance companies. Together we provide fire protection and ambulance service to the residents of the Village.
