The newly renovated Crested Butte Hostel is such a cool place to hang out and make friends when you are not out on the trail soaking up the wildflowers, mountain views, powder runs, and Colorado sun. Our 13 room lodge is one of the most unique accommodations in Crested Butte, with 11 private rooms and two bunk rooms.
If you enjoy communal travel, you'll appreciate the cleanliness of our large men's/women's restrooms and showers. With the money you save preparing your own meals in our fully updated and equipped kitchen, you can rent bikes or Nordic skis and explore the easily accessible trails right out the door. If you brought your own gear, we have indoor ski and bike storage.
The free town shuttle, decorated by local artists, picks up just down the street and delivers you directly to Mt. Crested Butte for more skiing, hiking or biking. If you are not up for the short walk, in the other direction, the town shuttle will bring you to Elk Avenue, Crested Butte's authentic western main street.
