Situated on a 58 acre mini farm, the tents are just up the hill from the beautiful Sulphur Fork creek. There are two tents but they are situated 300 feet apart so you can have privacy or camp with friends.The tent sites are a short 1000 foot walk through a meadow to a wooded area (we can usually schedule to give you a ride in/out upon your arrival/departure if you make arrangements in advance).
If you want to come and go during your stay, you should be prepared for the short hike to/from the designated parking area as the tent sites are not accessible to vehicles (exceptions can be made for 4WD vehicles but only with permission in advance).The tent is equipped with a small refrigerator/freezer and Keurig machine. Pots and pans are not provided.
Each tent has air conditioning and two large fans for summer months and heated floors and a wood burning stove in winter months. Each tent has a private bathroom with running water and composting toilets. There is a fire pit outside that is great for cooking and running water.Plenty of hiking, swimming in creek and lots of wildlife to observe (including a bald eagles nest and a blue herons nest on our property).
