Crawley Down Village, together with Copthorne form Worth Parish Council and is situated in the northeast corner of West Sussex close to the borders of Surrey and Kent. Crawley Down is handy for the M23 and only about a ten minute drive from Gatwick Airport, Three Bridges and East Grinstead railway stations. Until 1967 the village was served by Grange Road railway station on the Three Bridges to Tunbridge Wells Line which was closed as a result of the Beeching Axe.
