Previously, Birmingham City Council granted planning permission in July 2019 for a 61-storey residential building. However, this design was found to be undeliverable.
The focus of the current plan is a smaller building, but one which is deliverable and based on the owner’s long-term operational needs.
The 2019 planning permission provides a strong precedent for development in this location and on this site. There is now an opportunity to bring forward a development which can be delivered and will re-invigorate this underutilised brownfield site. View the plans and comment
