The Friends of the Claremont Public Library 2022-2023 ON THE SAME PAGE Book Choice is A Fire Story by Brian Fies. As the library's website describes it, "Award-winning author and illustrator Brian Fies presents his personal account of the Northern California wildfires of 2017."
"On the Same Page has selected A Fire Story by Brian Fies, a graphic memoir about the sweeping fire in Santa Rosa in 2017, as our "community read" for this year. To build on Fies's experience, so movingly told through words and pictures, our first event will be the stories of three Claremont residents who will use us about their experiences of neighborhood and homes going up in flames."
