Mercator Ocean International is organising the Copernicus Marine Service - Phase #2 - kick off the event. Scheduled on the 17 and 18 of February, 2022, this event will be held in a full online format.
Following the Copernicus Horizon 2035 Symposium, which will be held on the 16 and 17 of February, the launch of the new phase (2021-2028) of the Copernicus Marine Service will be an opportunity to officially mark the start of an ambitious plan for the next 7 years. This event will gather the main Copernicus Marine stakeholders and communities such as partners and downstream users and showcase the roadmap for the upcoming seven years.
Day 1 will be open to the public . This will be a mix of plenary presentations and round table discussions to present the Copernicus Marine strategy developed for phase #2. Themes such as Copernicus Marine priority actions for the upcoming years, support to policies for a safe, clean and healthy Ocean, integration of a digital ocean, product and service evolution and ocean reporting will be highlighted.
