C ONNECT contributions to S&T toward enabling eternal networked software systems are available from this Web site, including software prototypes released under open source license. It is further intended to release part of the C ONNECT software in the context of the newly created OW2 open source initiative FISSi on Future Internet Software and Services (see http://www.ow2.org/view/Future_Internet /).
In a nutshell, C ONNECT introduces the Emergent Middleware paradigm and supporting enablers so as to sustain interoperability in the increasingly dynamic, mobile and heterogeneous environment like the one envisioned for the Future Internet. C ONNECT solutions in particular appear beneficial for the System of Systems area as well as for mobile collaborative apps.
