The City of Concord held a neighborhood meeting at the Meadow Homes School on January 20, 2015 to present the refined plans for the Detroit Avenue Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Project. The refinements include having the budget for the traffic signals be used instead for pavement rehabilitation to fix the potholes and puddles. Also, the plans now include more street lighting and a 4-way stop at Walters Way. The project was presented to the City Council on March 10th. The construction contract was awa
