Presentation by the Portuguese teacher Inês Braga proposes a reflection on the pedagogical practices of soft skills and media literacy
The teacher Inês Braga, from the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto (Portugal), has presented his paper “Communication and its impacts: from the academy to the professional context” as a guest of the UNESCO Chair of Communication Research at the Rey Juan Carlos University. The professor of the subject of Information Sciences has proposed a debate about soft skills in the field of communication in university education.
PhD in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms from the University of Porto, Inês Braga has also stressed the importance of including media literacy in the classroom, so that the university student is able to differentiate between true information and misinformation, in addition to developing critical reading and oral argumentation.
