Covid, Ukraine, energy prices, Liz Truss. It might feel as if theres little to laugh about right now (though what else can anyone do about Ms Truss?) But we’re back to make that all go away. In association with The Shoe Cake Comedy Club we’re bringing back regular comedy to Augill Castle this autumn and your sides will be splitting with laughter as well as great food.
On the first Sunday of each month we’re hosting a comedy supper. A host of acts from TV, the regular stand-up comedy circuit as well as from the Edinburgh Fringe will entertain you over a light supper as well as drinks from our new bar, including a new cocktail list.
Ever since we hosted a Fawlty Towers dinner experience five years ago – it might even have been longer as all we know is that Oliver couldn’t hold his drink back then – we’ve wanted to put on more comedy.
