South Fork is located in south-central Colorado at the base of Wolf Creek Pass. We are only 4 hours from Denver or Albuquerque, 3-1/2 hours to Colorado Springs or Sante Fe and 2 hours to Durango or Taos.
We are surrounded by nearly 2 million acres of the Rio Grande National Forest , the largest national forest in the state. The Rio Grande River meanders through our pristine valley and offers some of the best trout fishing in the west.
