Coinye is a cryptocurrency, that uses the Scrypt Proof of Work (PoW ) algorithm to generate new blocks. Unliked Litecoin and Dogecoin (main Scrypt coins) Coinye does not use merged mining, meaning it is still possible to solo mine and mine in pools with minimal hash power!
