Description: The Canadian Mineral Industry Education Foundation (CMIEF) is currently supporting around 170 students with scholarships at universities across Canada studying in programs related to the mining industry.

Recipients receive $1,000 per academic term until the degree program is completed, provided that satisfactory academic performance is maintained and that work experience in the mining industry is obtained between academic terms.
Scholarship application forms issued by the Canadian Mineral Industry Education Foundation are available at your university or on this website. Properly completed application forms must be received by March 31 for academic programs commencing the following September.
