Clinton Cerejo is an award-winning Indian music director, composer and singer. Known for amalgamating western elements into traditional Indian compositions, he has emerged as the flag bearer of fusion music in India. From films, commercials, albums to being the face of the Indian Sufi rock bank, Ananthaal, his diverse expertise is well-known and highly appreciated in the Indian music industry.
By far, he has worked alongside acclaimed composers such as AR Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Bhardwaj, Vishal Shekar, Salim Suleiman, to name a few. Internationally, his notable work includes the vocal arrangements for Dido and AR Rahman’s Oscar-nominated song ‘If I Rise’; Michael Bolton’s album, Gems; and Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, Damien Marley and AR Rahman’s band SuperHeavy.
In the span of two decades, Cerejo has scored over 2500 commercials, including the viral Google Reunion ad that won him the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for best music. He has not only composed several Bollywood films, his first being ‘Jugni’ featuring the industry best, but has also sung several Bollywood hits.
