I have been a fan of Sammy Hagar as a solo artist, with Montrose, Chickenfoot, and with Van Halen, so when I heard Hagar was touring with his “Four Decades of Rock tour” I couldn’t wait to see this show.
Sammy Hagar’s “Four Decades of Rock” tour was a show that everyone should see. I can’t believe Hagar been doing this for 40 years, it just seemed like yesterday when I bought his album “Three Lock Box.” Wow, whoever said Time Flies was right!
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Sammy Hagar, kicked off the show performing a medley “Space Station #5”, “Rock Candy”, and “Bad Motor Scooter from his Montrose days. Hagar was joined onstage with his band, the Wabos, along with special guest Michael Anthony. Anthony and Hagar have played together in Van Halen and Anthony and Hagar joined forces again in their super group Chickenfoot.
