I had never heard tell of William Bendler until 2009, when I watched Tuck Nelson from the porch of Grandmas House in Boise, Idaho, pack up his blue Subaru hatchback full of instruments and recording gear and drive to Montana to spend a month recording an album with this William character. William eventually moved back to Boise and parked his yellow bus, Rex Nemorensis, at Grandmas House where we became briefly acquainted.
