The Japan Cider Cup was launched in November 2022 by inCiderJapan, creating the country’s premier people’s choice awards tasting competition and international cider event. Conceived in 2019 and officially launched in October 2020, Global Cider Connect began as an initiative to promote cider and cider tourism in Japan. The three-year project was sponsored by the Southern Nagano Cider Tourism Bureau and coordinated by inCiderJapan.
