Every Sunday of each month at 3:00PM, a group comes together indowntown Lexington to love God and to love their neighbors. ChurchUnder The Bridge is a Christ-centered ministry advancing the gospel ofevangelism, social concerns and Biblical justice. Our work is to sharethe hope and love of Christ with the homeless and marginally housedof the inner-city of Lexington, Kentucky.
At each gathering we begin with worship, teaching, and prayer. This isfollowed by a powerful display of Christ's love with a free hot meal andmany services; i.e. medical and case managment, hair styling, andclothing is available. A Bible study is also available for our guests thatare interested after the worship service.
As an urban collaborative ministry, we maintain a dynamic and sharedapproach to assist and empower our homeless and marginally housedguests. We welcome the participation of Christ-centered organizationsin philosophy to share in the responsibilities of outreach, growth anddevelopment of new services.
