Marius Memmel
I'm a master's student in Autonomous Systems (Computer Science) at TU Darmstadt . I currently cooperate as a research assistant (and previously as a research intern) with NEC Laboratories America, Inc. (Princeton). Together with my supervisors Biplob Debnath and Srimat T. Chakradhar , I work on controlling standard video codecs for current computer vision models and self-supervised learning for video understanding. In 2020, I received my bachelor's in Information Systems Technology ( computer science electrical engineering). In my final bachelor thesis , supervised by Tim Prangemeier and Christian Wildner , I worked on generating and simulating microscopy images with deep learning. I previously also worked as a teaching assistant (2017- 2018) at TU Darmstadt ( E5 group and mathematics department ) and as a working student at Bosch Rexroth (2018-2020).
