In memory of my mum Christine my girlfriend (Bryony) and I (Stephen) are going to walk the whole of the South West Coast Path, hopefully in the company of a whole load of friends and family. We are doing it to remember my mum who sadly passed away in January after a nine year battle with Cancer.
We are walking it in her memory as it was something she always wanted to do and because she told me to. We will also to try and raise a bit of money for two fantastic charities who have helped both her, us and countless thousands of other people over the years; Macmillan Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Care.
In total the coast path is 630 miles long; that’s about the same as walking from Petersfield to just south of John O’Groats or (for those that don’t know where Petersfield is) from Exeter to just south of … umm well…. John O’Groats .
