Today is the day that Love Or The Wilds is released for pre-order. In conjunction with this, I am also releasing a video of the title track to showcase part the album. I directed and filmed this video myself in Milwaukee Wisconsin during the month of May, 2023.
Even though the album is new, the songs are several years in the making. They were all written while I was living in Oregon between 2016 and 2019. It took two more years to figure out how I wanted to present them, and another year to put an album together featuring them. By early 2022, the record had reached its final form. Then one more year was spent waiting for the production of the vinyl and CDs.
Seven years to create seven songs. It’s been a long time coming, yet it still feels worth every bit of the time that it took. I am very proud of this work, and honored to have shared music with the group of players who helped this record come to light. It is difficult to put into words the depth of my gratitude for this.
