One of the most interesting things about the municipal level of government is that it affects our everyday lives in a very direct and personal manner.
During the 2006 election campaign Collingwood citizens identified things such as growth management, taxation, affordable housing, the environment and economic development as being among their key priorities. The 2006-2010 Council worked hard at addressing each one of these issues with some very notable progress. We tackled a mountain of work and made many decisions both big and small.
