This has become one of my favorite courses and I’m really excited to see it finally come out. The ideas contained within the six lessons sets are straight-up how I approach playing rock rhythm guitar. I lay it all out there including the techniques and influences. It’s out now, so got get it!
Speaking of my own devices, my latest for Guitar Player Magazine (Feb. 2022) is a lesson article on the elusive G-B string pair and the havoc standard tuning creates. In the piece I outline how I expanded on a brilliant idea I read back in the mid-90’s in the now defunct Guitar for Practicing Musician written by the legendary Berklee Professor Jon Finn.
