And it was also astounding to see job openings asking for a graphic designer with a bachelor’s degree, I had absolutely no idea there was such a thing. I didn’t know you could go to university and get a graphic design bachelor’s degree. That was surprising. I got an advanced diploma in graphic design, and that’s what I knew existed. I only knew they offered bachelor’s degrees in fine art, and I wasn’t into that, but now there’s a need for university degrees in graphic design. That was…mind-boggling.
And the layoffs these days are also crazy. It was crazy back then, but it’s not going away yet.
