The Charleston Disc Golf Club is a group of more than 120 individuals that engage in the sport of disc golf at recreational and professional levels of competition.
The club is host to both men and women and covers an age spectrum from young to "young at heart." Disc Golf is similar to traditional ball golf, in that a player attempts to complete a hole in as few attempts as possible.
In disc golf, however, players throw plastic discs at chained baskets mounted on poles. Just as golf has many clubs for multiple purposes, disc golf has a variety of disc golf discs that fly differently based on throwing technique and the profile shape of the disc.
