A new, not for profit association, has been formed to help raise public interest in efforts to save the Cerberus. Called Friends of the Cerberus, the organisation\'s mission is to promote preservation of the ship by educating the public about her historic significance. The Victorian Navy is the membership arm of Friends of the Cerberus with two categories of membership.
